Project Executive Summary
A multi-region network infrastructure upgrade programme to modernize over 35 hub sites across Poland and the Czech Republic by deploying 30 high-capacity CMTS units from Cisco, Arris, and Casa. The project targeted 2018 performance milestones by upgrading core connectivity to 10G ports. The programme operated under the T&I Global Delivery Framework using a strict Waterfall / Phase-Gate methodology with a 203-day delivery cycle for Poland.
Role Executive Summary
Project Manager / Demand Manager. Managed IP addressing requests, CMTS configuration workflows, connectivity diagram delivery, and hardware logistics across hubs. Owned bi-weekly SteerCo reporting and weekly project status meetings. Coordinated a 120-manday resource allocation across four global departments (Access, Core/CN&O, IT, Technology) to meet all critical path milestones.
Deliverables
- Spearheaded the deployment and core connectivity of 30 high-capacity CMTS units (Cisco, Arris, Casa) across 35+ regional hubs in Poland and the Czech Republic, standardizing high-speed infrastructure and transitioning all sites to 10G core ports for enhanced network throughput.
- Engineered a structured network migration strategy for multiple metropolitan hubs, eliminating service bottlenecks through the strategic rerouting of DTV transport streams and the controlled removal of passive filters prior to production network cutover.
- Managed a CAPEX/OPEX budget while minimizing production downtime by coordinating formal Change Requests (CRQs) through the SteerCo board for all new CMTS connections.
- Orchestrated multi-region project schedules achieving a 100% milestone completion rate across all critical path tasks, including IP addressing, DS configuration, and testing within a 203-day Waterfall delivery cycle.
- Directed a 120-manday cross-departmental resource plan across Access, Core, IT, and Technology teams, managing bi-weekly SteerCo governance reviews in full compliance with the T&I Global Delivery Framework.
